The people who were most attracted to the Rainbow Loom were kids ages 8 to 13ish. The reason Rainbow Loom was appealing was because they could be worn as bracelets or traded with others. The Rainbow Loom was a fad because kids loved wearing stylish bracelets. A fad that has taken Rainbow Loom's spot is Lokai bracelets.
